ELIGIBILITY CRITERIAL FOR CONTESTANTS

You must be able to prove:
*You are at least 21 years of age
*You are legal U.S. Citizen or permanent U.S. resident who is eligible to work
in the United States
*You MUST be able to demonstrate to the satisfaction of the AGEP that you do
not have any of the following agreements in effect (written or oral):

–  a music recording contract
–  an agreement relating to the use of your name, voice and/or likeness
–  any other contractual arrangement that would prohibit you from fully participating in the showcase and/or entering into any contracts required by the AGEP, including an exclusive management contract, recording contract and merchandising contract.

CONTESTANTS must be willing to be video taped during the show stage and the performance.  If he/she is not willing to be videotaped, then he/she should NOT enter the singing competition.  Video may be used for documentary, sell and marketing purposes and a release form MUST be filled out at the time of the audition.

The Registration Process

CONTESTANTS will initialize their contact by going to the audition and registering for the singing contest.  They will provide the AGEP talent specialist agent with their full name, age, and contact information.

CONTESTANTS will fill the form out before the audition, sign and date it. AGEP talent specialist will contact you in a week with a congratulation/welcome letter.  You will provide a headshot or photo; short bio, email it to agepmusic@yahoo.com.

CONTESTANTS who audition and make the top final 12 MUST be able to perform in the competition in its entirety.  The competition begins on DATES and being available for 6 consecutive DATE from (TIME).  Should the contestant not be able to commit the date requests, then he/she should not enter the competition. If you miss one night, you will automatically disqualify. Unless if act of god, injury accident, illness and family death are excusable.

CONTESTANTS must bring minimum of 10 fans/friends to qualify every week.  AGEP will facilitate a stage for you to invite your fans to watch you perform live. This is one of the most important factor in the music industry is to built your contact list made up of you all your fans.  The audiences have a lot of voting power than the judges. This will help you win week after week.

CONTESTANTS must market themselves and utilize all marketing internet sites that are available (MySpace, Facebook, Website, etc.) including email blasting.
